Speed and Power

The TheraGun G2PRO is extremely powerful, but it only has a single speed. Since it claims to be calibrated by physicians, we worked the TheraGun around tight muscle joints and lower back tension to see how it would do. Overall, we felt it was more powerful than most handheld massagers. We recorded 2,400 percussions per minute. This massage can apply 80 lbs of pressure at 16 mm amplitude. 

Versatility and Portability

This massage gun fits into any backpack without taking up too much space or feeling like too much weight. It comes in at just under 2.5 pounds. Using the massage gun is actually really fun due to the design and handle. You get really precise percussions within just the right spot, immediately alleviating tension and strain. The head can be adjusted to 4 unique angles, which allows the user to get the hard to reach spots on your body. The heads can be changed with a quick-release function, making the gun rather versatile depending on the area you are targeting.

TheraGun proves that it can do more than just relieve tension. It’s a dynamic massager that offers help with blood circulation, sore muscles, muscle cramps, and so much more. The massager comes with four different attachments that each share the same purpose of aiding in sore muscle relief, but each attachment does it in it’s own way. Battery Life

The battery life for the TheraGun is pretty strong. They typically last about 45 minutes and take about an hour to charge. However, the massage gun comes with 2 batteries, which allows you to always have a charged battery on hand and gives the device almost unlimited usage. TheraGun recommends keeping both batteries charged so you can pick up the second when the first dies.

We liked that the TheraGun has so many users and positive reviews. This is likely due to the TheraGun being the most widely known massage gun. The gun itself works very well and really has everything you want in a professional, medical-grade massage gun that can pinpoint muscle and stress, alleviating any soreness and tension. It’s important to note that this massage tool is a bit expensive, but it’s worth the cost considering you get multiple attachments and accessories, as well as the high-powered quality. You won’t find too many massagers that can output up to 80 lbs of pressure. The one negative reported by many users is that this device is rather loud, which makes it difficult to use in public spaces such as a gym or office.
