What’s up everybody? This is Patrick with Best Massage Tech and this is the ReAthlete Deep 4S Massage Gun and we’re going to take a look at it today. So this device caught my eye with the unique colors on it. First device I’ve seen that has its own little flair. Definitely caught my eye and I knew I wanted to check it out. This device is from a company called ReAthlete. It’s currently their only recovery device. It does look like they’re getting ready to unroll some other products in their line, but right now the Deep 4S is the only device that they have in their recovery line. This device does have a stall force of 30 pounds, so those of you that aren’t familiar with stall force, that’s the amount of force you can put on the device before the motor actually stalls out. So I’ll turn the device on and just show what I’m talking about there. Just put it on the lowest speed and just with a little bit of pressure it stops, but it does turn off once that happens.

So you do have to restart it and start it again to get it to go. The device does just have an on and off power switch that you can just flip on the bottom of the device here. Very, very easy. It is a four speed device, so what is unique about this device is how those speeds change. So it does just have four little touch screens on the back. So once it’s on you just press this little triangle here and it comes on and pressing it each time transitions it through all the way back up to the highest speed and down to the lowest speed. It does have a stroke length of 12 millimeters. It comes with five different attachments. So right here I have the large ball on it. It does also come with a smaller ball attachment, a cone attachment, a fork attachment and a flat head attachment.

All of these attachments fit into the case that it comes with. Inside the case you also get a wall charging port. It just plugs into the back of the device here. Very easily plug into the wall. It does light up a little bit when it’s charging. Again, I mentioned this is a four speed device. It does adjust to three different angles, so just pressing the button on the device you can go to three different angles. Massage any way you want. The battery on it is not removable, but it does last up to three hours when it’s being used on its lowest setting, so pretty long battery life on that. The noise on it’s pretty quiet.

It’s going to be between 60 and 70 decibels depending on what speed you’re at. It’s relatively light. It weighs in at 2.66 pounds, so right in the middle of the road compared to most other massage guns. I mentioned, it does come with the case and the price tag on this device is currently $200 so pretty friendly for the budget shopper. So definitely a very unique device minus the stall force. I do like a lot of it. I do wish it did have a higher stall force. I also do wish that it came with a removable battery. That’s something for me is just a personal preference when it comes to traveling.

Something that I do like about it is the material that the attachment balls are made out of is different then a lot of the other devices I’ve seen. It’s a little bit more firm, kind of reminds me of the Theragun, but with a little bit firmer material that it’s made out of. So anyways, that is the ReAthlete Deep 4S.
