Rapid Reboot is one of the more well known companies in the compression recovery boot space, but since introducing their flagship product, the self titled Rapid Reboot, they have not had much innovation with their devices….until now. In February of 2021, they launched two new products into their arsenal, the Rapid Reboot Regen and Rapid Reboot Genesis.
The new line of devices are more powerful, more portable, battery powered, and allow for wifi and/or bluetooth connectivity. In this article, we’ll take a look at some of the features and specifications of the new Rapid Reboot Regen and Genesis.
We’ll start by diving into the Regen.
What Is Rapid Reboot Regen?
Rapid Reboot Regen is the most premium device in the Rapid Reboot compression recovery boot line. These boots are the first for the company to be battery powered and have an innovative suite of customizable recovery settings through Bluetooth connectivity to their app.
Specifications and Features of Rapid Reboot Regen
With the introduction of the Regen, Rapid Reboot took the core of their compression boots and elevated the user experience in several ways. The most noticeable changes they’ve made include the addition of Bluetooth compatibility with their app and transitioning the device to become battery powered.
Through the new battery, the device has four hours of battery life as well as a power saving mode to ensure the life of a charge cycle. The Regen is capable of inflating to 20 different levels ranging from 0-200 mmHg. These levels increase by increments of 10 mmHg. Once a user is ready to begin their session, they can select from 4 differing modes, which are simply called A, B, C and D. Users can select how long their recovery session will be, ranging from 1 minute up to 179 minutes (2 hours and 59 minutes). The Regen includes the ability to control the chamber hold, cycle speed and cycle rest. When the recovery session is complete, users can quickly pack their boots up by using the Rapid Deflate function, which is a first of its kind among compression recovery boots.
While recovering with the Regen, users have the ability to connect and control their recovery session using the new Rapid Reboot Bluetooth and Wifi app. The Pro+ app allows the user to not only control the device, but also store an unlimited amount of recovery programs, review usage data and recovery analytics, and access supplemental materials.
The weight of the Regen is 4.4 pounds and measures 5 inches by 4.5 inches by 9.5 inches. The system is made of polycarbonate, ABS, TPU, chemically enhanced glass and contains magnets.
What Is Rapid Reboot Genesis?
Rapid Reboot Genesis is the second new device device in the Rapid Reboot compression recovery boot line and is a more simplified version compared to the Regen. While this device is equally as portable given it is powered by battery, the customization options are a bit more limited.
Specifications and Features of the Rapid Reboot Genesis
Users looking to take their recovery on-the-go still have the ability to do so with the Rapid Reboot Genesis, however they won’t be able to experience the same features as those who utilize the Regen.
While still battery powered, the battery life of the Genesis caps out at 2 hours. The battery life is optimized through a power saving mode, which helps maintain the charge of the device when not in use. Users have the ability to select from 10 different pressure levels ranging from 0-200 mmHG, which vary in increments of 20 mmHg. The recovery session is limited to just 6 time settings ranging from 10-60 minutes and 2 recovery modes, either A or B. The device has the ability to isolate individual chambers and connect to the Rapid Reboot App.
The weight of the Genesis device is 4 pounds and measures 5 inches by 4.5 inches by 9.5 inches. The materials of the system are comprised of polycarbonate, ABS, TPU, chemically enhanced glass and contains magnets.
