When it comes to percussion massage, there are typically two forms of devices that people think of. They either think of a longer, wand-like, device their parents had in their basement or they think of a massage gun their buddy had at the gym. While Purewave seems to have mastered the art of the former, Theragun is one of the leaders of the latter.

Given that the two devices are pretty drastically different, we don’t think it’s truly fair to compare them. But…you’re not here to hear that so we’ve done our best below to compare the Purewave to the Theragun. Before we dive in too far, it should be noted there are several different versions of both devices. For the Purewave, we’ll be looking at the CM7 and for the Theragun we’ll be looking at the G3Pro (Theragun also sells models by the names liv and G3).
