What is the Hypersphere?
The Hypersphere is a vibrating therapy ball that can be used as an advanced mobility tool that goes beyond the myofascial release capability of lacrosse balls or ordinary massage balls. This tool is one of the most reliable, versatile, and variable massage balls on the market. While it does come with a relatively high price point, we recommend it as one of the best. The tool is developed by Hyperice, a leading innovator in portable cold compression garments and massage devices (Hypervolt and Vyper). While still a compact, easy-to-use self-massager, the Hypersphere is also equipped with three digitally-controlled vibration settings, along with a textured rubber exterior designed for targeting localized soft tissue.
The Hypersphere is fantastic because it can be used as part of your warm up or cool down routine. This type of device is much more versatile than a vibrating foam roller because it allows you to target more specific areas than a larger roller. Similar to most vibrating foam rollers, you have the ability to choose your desired intensity setting, then use the Hypersphere to work out knots, tightness, or nagging pain in the hips, hamstrings, glutes, feet, back and shoulders. This type of intense, focused massage therapy can do wonders for myofascial release, as well as an athlete’s range of motion, circulation, and flexibility. It can also shorten recovery times and reduce the risk of common injuries over time.

How to use the Hypersphere
To turn on the Hypersphere, press down on the power button for three seconds until the LED lights illuminate. To set the level of intensity, press the power button again – once for level one (45 HZ), twice for level two (68 HZ), and three times for level three (92 HZ). As you increase the intensity, the blue LED lights will illuminate to indicate the corresponding intensity level.
It is not recommended that the Hypersphere be used on hard surfaces. Consider utilizing the device on carpet, yoga mat, or similar surface. The ball can be used to activate, soothe, or loosen muscles and can be used throughout the body. The Hypersphere is great on the feet, calves, hamstrings, gluteus, hip flexors, shoulders, back and forearms.
To turn off the Hypersphere, press down on the power button for three seconds. When the unit has turned off, the LED lights will no longer illuminate. Please note, the massager ball does have a 10 minute auto-shutoff feature. After 10 minutes of continuous use, it will automatically turn off. To continue use beyond 10 minutes, simply turn the device on again and set to the desired intensity level.
How portable is the Hypersphere?
The Hypersphere is very portable when it comes to traveling on the go with the device. It is an optimal and compact size as it only has a diameter of 5 inches (12.7 cm). It will easily fit in a backpack, larger purse, or gym bag to be taken to the gym, office, or on a cross-country trip.
The Hypersphere is TSA approved as a carry-on. However, one thing to be aware of when flying with the massage ball is that you do have to take it out and put it in a bin going through security like you would a piece of technology such as a computer or tablet.
Battery Life
It is recommended that the battery be fully charged prior to the first use. In order to fully charge, the device will need approximately 2 hours on the charger. To charge, connect the adapter to the charging port and plug into a wall charger. As the Hypersphere charges, LED lights will illuminate to show the battery level and indicate that it is charging. When it is fully charged the LED lights will remain lit up while it is plugged in.
After a use, the battery may be recharged. You can recharge the device at any time and at any battery level. However, it is not recommended to fully deplete the battery to the red LED level. To avoid this, simply recharge after each use or overnight on a regular basis to help prolong the battery life. It is not recommended that the unit be used while it is charging.
The average run time of the battery is around 2 hours of use at the maximum intensity – level three. The battery will last longer if the device is being used at the lower levels.
How to clean the Hpyersphere
The maintenance, cleaning and storage of the Hypersphere is extremely easy and convenient. If you do find that you need to clean the device, simply use a towel or soft cloth to wipe any moisture from the unit. When storing the massage ball, keep it away from any heat sources, liquids, and children
